From a simple passion to bringing it to life Mr. Natarajan has come a long way. The journey has been one big dipper and today Laven Vineyards and wines stand amidst the lush green vineyards that have been cherished affectionately.
Mr. Natarajan, who has a background in agriculture, worked his way up to establish himself in the liquor industry. Laven has produced wines that are rich in flavor and pleasant to the gourmet and without being intimidating to the novice by operating under the founders’ guiding principle of “Service beyond self.”

The Laven Vineyards is 45kms from Bengaluru City. Mr Natarajan believes that quality is achieved with perfection. He is now determined towards connecting wine lovers with wine tasting, education and tourism.
Our vineyards
Vineyards are often characterized by their “terroir”, a French word loosely translating a sense of place that refers to the geographical and geological characteristics of grapevine plantations.
A common saying is that “the worse the soil-the better the wine” vineyards are often located on hillsides and planted in soil that is of only marginal value to other plants. As they say soil to soul, we at LAVEN vineyards believe the best wines come from the best soil and vines that touch the soul. Our vineyard is the home for our new innovations and experiments which admires us to make palatable wines. Considering the characteristics of the place our vineyards contribute to the distinctive taste and signature wines.

Journey
The construction of the winery was started after the 1st wave of the covid-19 pandemic and was ready to be operated successfully within 1 year from the day of its foundation laid.
With experienced brains and young hands put together started operating the winery in 2021 with their first grape crushed on 18th June 2021. The winery holds the total capacity of storing 6 lakhs liters of wine per month. Has one of the largest and systematic tank rooms in the wine industry in India with 16 tanks placed in it. The winery has the capacity of bottling 4000 liters of wine in a day.
